As someone who has never been a fan of the way recipes are shared online (and having to scroll through pages of someone waxing poetic to get to the actual recipe), I’m just going to dive right in and tell you what you want to know:

Hobby Hash Hard Candy Recipe
Makes:
~210x 5mg Hard Candies
(bigger molds = less candies/higher mg)
Time:
Cooking: 45-60 Minutes
Cool Down: 1-2 Hours
Ingredients:
1.5g bubble hash or rosin*
1 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup corn syrup
(Alternatives: maple syrup, or agave syrup)3/8 cup water
1 dram flavoring (optional)**
2-3 drops food color (optional)***
1 cup powdered sugar (optional)
Equipment:
Small boiling pot/sauce pan
Candy Molds (I like these for tiny edibles)
Candy Thermometer
Baking Tray
(optional: Trays make moving molds easier; can also be used as work surface when dusting candies with powdered sugar)
Steps:
Prepare your space by cleaning all molds, tools, and pans/trays. Place molds on baking tray on a cool surface.
Optional: place hot mitts or other insulated material under baking tray; tray will get hot when pouring hot candy and this can protect your countertops).
